Meditation helps you to have high energy level which reduces your stress. Meditation heals all physical, mental, emotional diseases. There is no disease which can’t be healed through meditation. Meditation helps psychologically and physically. It helps to get rid of stress, tension, fears, phobias, depression, anxiety, blood pressure, heart diseases or any other physical or mental or emotional diseases.
And by the way, when you reach this deep state in meditation, you might just realize that this Christ you have been trying to find is actually INSIDE of you, not OUTSIDE. You just had to strip away your own ego to realize this.
meditation baltimore has numerous benefits for your social, physical, and spiritual well-being. Brain scan studies done over the years have shown how the brain goes into a calmer, kinder brain wave state after just sitting for 5 minutes. People may notice that you have a demeanor change and you seem to be more patient and you look happier. These changes are sometime subtle and sometimes they are not. You begin to be able to pay attention to your surrounds and your emotions. You do not react as quickly to circumstances and you are more content with your life and what goes on around you.
The tips are easy-to-apply, enjoyable, and, if you work them, will help you maintain your meditation flow well beyond the times you are sitting on you meditation mat.
My fourth recommendation is this, be creative. Meditation does not have to be in the stereotypical lotus position, eyes closed, and mantra humming style. If it works, fantastic, but if it doesn’t don’t beat yourself up. I feel meditation is whatever brings you to higher states of awareness and promotes general well being. Take drawing or art for example, that state one achieves where ideas seem to flow freely from mind to paper could be described as active meditation. Another example is meditating on nature. Sit outside one day and just focus on your environment, notice every minute detail, but don’t analyze it, just perceive it as best you can through all your senses. Again do not get caught up in the whys and hows of meditation, instead find your own way.
The first day is only 10 minutes and it will help you work up to 30 minutes. First, you will need to work on your posture and breath. To improve your posture consider standing side on in front of a mirror and try these three things: (1) Focus on putting your chest UP instead of out, (2) Then try keeping your back straight, and (3) Keep your chin up. By putting your chin up it will move your neck back, and help improve your breathing.
One of the reasons that meditation is so hot is because of the research that has shown the benefits of doing it. Meditation is one of the few activities that science has shown where consistent practice will actually change your brain.
Just pick an activity and focus your awareness on that activity. Remember, your mind is going to wander! Continue to bring it back to the task and you’ll be meditating. That’s all there is to it! So get to it, and you soon you will be increasing the control that you have over your own brain. Sounds like a good deal to me!
