How Music Entertains Us

Adding music to a podcast is a fairly straight forward process using a software program called Audacity. The hardest part, in my opinion, is picking out music that suits the mood of the podcast.

“Trilogy Suite Op:5” – Yngwie Malmsteen: This song was the only instrumental on Yngwie’s third album with his band Rising Force. He had lots of great instrumental on his previous albums but I think his chops were at their peak for this song. This song also had some very nice movements from part to part.

The upper class and monarchs could afford to hire retro lounge music for a concert, which was a big deal then. Some even hired full-time musicians or even orchestras. Concerts were important social events.

If you have your own sound system, make sure there is someone knowledgeable about when to play a specific song or music. If you are hiring a music service provider, ask their expertise when it comes to wedding. The more weddings they have hosted, the more playlist songs they have for you to choose from.

Once you’ve picked your music, you need to import it the song into Audacity. To do that, just launch Audacity, and import your voice file by dragging the file into the open window. After you drag in your voice file, drag your retro lounge file into the same window. You’ll notice that you now have 2 separate “tracks” in the window.

Starry Night. Picture a clear ceiling tent under a mass of twinkling stars for your wedding reception. This would create a spectacular place in which to celebrate your wedding. If you cannot conjure up real stars, drape midnight blue fabric over the ceiling of your venue and light it with thousands of tiny twinkling white lights. Play up the star theme in subtle ways throughout your wedding, such as using pierced votive candle holders which have tiny star shapes. A wedding cake painted to resemble Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night” painting would be a real show stopper.

Evaluate your heart rate! Compare your heart rate when you’re at rest with the number of heart beats while biking to boost your fitness level. But the thing is you need to use gym’s static bike with a heart rate monitor since your bike doesn’t have it. That’s right! You can tell if your cardio level surpasses healthy points based on your weight and age.
